Dear friends,
We’ve been exploiting my birthday for a week now, and already, we have raised enough money to buy one woman’s plane ticket home!
WOW! Thank you to everyone who has given!
However, we still need $700 to pay the visa overstay fine that she’ll be charged at immigration. Even if she has a plane ticket, she can’t leave the country if she doesn’t pay that $700 fee.
We have three more weeks to go, and I think we can keep up this rate of fund raising, or even increase it! That’s an amazing possibility. If we continue at this rate, we’ll be able to send two women home! If we each take our fundraising efforts to the next level – get these posts going viral – and pull in our friends and family on the fundraising – we could help even more women!
